Pondering Life’s Subtleties

It is an incredibly vulnerable feeling, sharing my voice. Maybe a bit freeing as well. I, of course, struggle hearing the sound of it. I hope it’s not as uncomfortable for you, as it is for me. ~Bea

Pondering Life's Subtleties

It was June at best

July at worst

And I found myself pondering

the subtleties of life

Like the wind tickling the leaves

Or a ripple in a pond

Such easy expectations

But what of the tree

What of the water

Do they not live too

Are the subtleties of my life

not chaos for theirs

Is where I find peace

not their turmoil

is not the point of living

to bend with the breeze

and go with the flow

To exist in the going

What freedom

What peace

to feel the continuing of life

No matter the circumstance

To not be absorbed in the becoming

simply resting in the being

A knowing

of wholeness

and unity

A moment of clarity

like a download

in a language

I’m still learning to understand

“Tread softly, my love. Flow gently with ease. No rushing or demanding. Just basking and appreciating. Remember the fullness, of all that you are. Move with intention, knowing your truth. You are doing magnificently, ignore the doubt. You're worthy and deserving just as you are. Keep reaching for you, and the oneness within. You are anchored and tethered fear need not take hold. There’s nothing to fix, and nothing to do. Be happy, feel joy, remember you.”

Back in the moment

grounded once again

The rain started falling

and instead of going inside

I stayed there and pondered

the subtleties

of life
