Life, or something like it

Water burbling in the stream

Nymphs singing in the trees

Sky glistening in moonlight

Shadows dancing at my feet

There is magic in the air

Weaving through the leaves

Playing with my hair

Caressing my skin

Calling me to a knowing

A trueness of self

Surrounded by infinite space

The illusion of time

Feeling it all

Flow through my being

Physical

Yet not

Everything and nothing

A blending of all that is

Glimpses of futures

Echos of pasts

Everything happening

Now

Anchored in this body

Soaring in my mind

My soul forever tethered

To the wholeness that is life

Contrasting expansion

Dancing in harmony

To the song of creation

And the thrum of my heart
